REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.
Welcome to the Georgia National Cemetery 's Wreaths Across America Page.
This year, in order to comply with Covid 19 restrictions, our Wreaths Across America event will be spread out over a three day period; Thursday, December 17 thru Saturday, December 19. The first two days (Thursday And Friday) are for families and those wishing to place a wreath on one or more specific gravesites.
Anyone wishing to volunteer on Thursday or Friday should contact Russ at 678-852-4591, WAA coordinator, to determine if additional volunteers are needed. Volunteers for mass wreath laying need to be limited due to COVID -19 safety considerations. Of course those having a wreath to lay on their own loved one's gravesite can come at anytime.
Saturday our volunteers will place the remaining wreaths. Masks and social distancing will be required. There will be no public ceremony this year, however, a virtual ceremony will be posted to our website and on social media.
Thank you so much for supporting Georgia National Cemetery and Wreaths Across America!
