Welcome to the Alabama National Cemetery 's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On December 19 at 12:00 pm, 2020, Wreaths Across America will be at Alabama National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.

There is plenty of parking at this cemetery, so feel free to park in any available spot.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

This year, the National Wreaths Across America Day ceremony for our location will be held virtually on Saturday, December 19, 2020. We are making necessary modifications to our ceremony plans and laying of veteran wreaths to ensure the safety of all. Our virtual ceremony can be viewed at:

All sponsored wreaths in 2020 will be placed by a small core group of volunteers or cemetery staff. If you would like to sign up to help place wreaths, please send an email with your contact information to waamontevallo@gmail.com You must be registered and pre-assigned to a section to help place wreaths.
