2021 So Far
405 Wreaths Sponsored

REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

Welcome to the Wreaths for Sandhills States Veterans Cemetery (NC0413)'s Wreaths Across America Page.

To date, 2020 has been a vastly different year in many ways, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has affected all communities across the country. For those locally who have participated in the Wreaths Across America mission at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, the amended event will indeed look different, but accomplish the same goal as in years past, to Remember, Honor and Teach.

As WAA’s Executive Director Karen Worcester said “Wreaths Across America Day 2020 will happen, however it will look much different.”

There will not be a public ceremony this year, however WE WILL BE placing all sponsored wreaths on December 19th from 8am until all wreaths are placed.

Registration for specific time slots will be required. 8am to 12pm will be only for those that have sponsored a wreath to place on family or friends graves.

We are still ironing out all the details and ask for your patience and check back frequently for updates over the next week when we release the volunteer time slot registration.

If you have a family member resting at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery and want to place your wreath at your loved one’s headstone, please sponsor a grave specific wreath prior to November 30th.

We are a long way from honoring all veterans at our cemetery so please consider honoring a veteran today by clicking the red "Sponsor" button.

Thank you so much for supporting the Wreaths for Sandhills States Veterans Cemetery (NC0413) and Wreaths Across America!
