REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.
Welcome to Team Bear's Wreaths Across America Page.
On Saturday, December 18th at 8:30AM Team Bear will be helping Arlington National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.
Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.
Thank you so much for supporting Team Bear and Wreaths Across America!
With deep appreciation of our veterans and Gold Star Families,
Wreaths Across America's Kid's Corner Presents Michael Ruane
Michael has only been involved with Wreaths Across America for a few years but has managed to pack a lot of volunteer experiences into his short tenure....
Wreaths Across America's Trucking Tributes Presents NAIT/IAT
When push comes to shove, these drivers, for the most part, are volunteering their time and equipment, and it was just a great match for us to help offset some of their fuel and other expenses....

Directions to Cemetery
Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.
Note: Memorial Drive will be closed to motorists. No personal vehicles will be allowed into the cemetery. ONLY family pass holders and those with handicapped placards will be allowed to park in the ANC Welcome Center parking garage.
Use Metro to Access the Cemetery
Due to anticipated congestion at the Arlington Cemetery Station, Metro recommends volunteers exit via the Rosslyn or Pentagon stations and walk to the cemetery. From these locations it is a short 15-minute walk to one of the cemetery entrances. If exiting at Rosslyn, you must enter the cemetery via the Ord & Weitzel gate by walking along the North Meade Street sidewalks. If exiting at the Pentagon, you must enter through the cemetery’s South Gate entrance.
Limited general public parking will be available at the Pentagon North and South Parking lots. There will be Wreaths Across America volunteers and signage positioned in the parking lots guiding visitors to walk to the nearest cemetery entrances. For those parking in Pentagon South Parking, recommend walking to the cemetery’s South Gate entrance for screening and entry to the grounds. For those parking in Pentagon North Parking, recommend walking to the cemetery’s main entrance on Memorial Ave. by using the Route 27 pedestrian walkway.
Family Pass Holders/Handicapped Placards
ONLY family pass holders and those with handicapped placards will be allowed to park in the ANC Welcome Center parking garage.
Ride Share Drop-off Locations
For those volunteers who plan to arrive via a ride share (i.e. Uber, Lyft), the drop off location is the Hayes lot (599-549 Army Navy Drive). From this point, volunteers will need to walk to the cemetery’s South Gate entrance.
Ceremony and Volunteer Information
Thank you for your interest in helping at Arlington this December 18th. More information about participating to lay wreaths will be made available soon. Note, all members of the public will be required to register for this year’s event and show proof of registration upon arrival at the Cemetery on Wreaths Across America Day.
Wreaths Across America is in need of volunteers to serve as docents for this year’s Wreaths Across America Day. Docents serve a unique role within Arlington National Cemetery during this event, these individuals assist in communicating Wreaths Across America’s “Remember, Honor, and Teach” mission.
Docents will be assigned to either a section (ensuring the entire section is evenly covered) or to a post throughout the Cemetery to answer any questions people may have about the WAA organization, mission, or their location within ANC. Docents will be required to attend a one-hour, virtual training in mid-November. Individuals interested in learning more about this unique opportunity should email firstname.lastname@example.org
