Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself. We do however ask that you enter from the north using exit 314, then West on Hwy48, turn left onto Co Rd 625, turn right onto Co Rd 476W for 1.6m then left onto Co Rd 476B South. The cemetery entrance will be on your right. We will be handing out wreaths from the main entrance as well as the maintenance vehicle entrance.
Once you have received your wreaths you are able to go to any section in the cemetery to place your wreaths. After you have placed your wreaths we ask that you leave the cemetery to allow others to Remember our fallen veterans. Thank you for your help us in our mission to Remember~Honor~Teach.

Wreath Handout and Volunteer Information
This year due to COVID19 we are unable to have a ceremony as in years past. We will however be able to have anyone that would like to place wreaths on Veterans graves. This year, we will be handing everyone wreaths as you enter the cemetery. Please DO NOT get out of your vehicle at the handout area. Once you have your wreaths you can drive anywhere in the cemetery to honor a fallen veteran and to “Say Their Name”
Wreath hand out will be held between 8am and 2pm. Since we are handing out wreaths in a drive through manner, there is no need to be at the cemetery before hand out begins. Since there’s no need to park to get in line for your wreaths, you can arrive any time between 8am and 2pm (Whenever you’d like) we’ll then hand you two wreaths per person per vehicle.
We ask that you enter from the north using exit 314, then West on Hwy48, turn left onto Co Rd 625, turn right onto Co Rd 476W for 1.6m then left onto Co Rd 476B South. The cemetery entrance will be on your right. We will be handing out wreaths from the main entrance as well as the maintenance vehicle entrance.
When you turn into the cemetery you’ll be guided to the wreath hand out area where you’ll be handed a flier and two wreaths per person in the car. Again, please DO NOT get out of your vehicle at the handout area. Once you have your wreaths, you may go anywhere in the cemetery to Remember a fallen veteran.
Once you are finished placing your wreaths we ask that you either leave the cemetery or if you wish you may get in line to receive more wreaths if available. Again, DO NOT walk up to the hand out area of get out of your vehicle at the hand out area.
We are extremely happy that we are able to place wreaths this year. Please remember, since we’re handing out wreaths in a drive through manner, there is no need to arrive by a certain time. Simply arrive between 8am and 2pm. Please register to volunteer! That way you will get and and all updates we may have.
Here are some things to remember about wreath placing this year:
• DO NOT get out of your vehicle or off your motorcycle at the handout area.
• Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
• Arrive anytime between 8am and 2pm. NO NEED TO ARRIVE BEFORE 8am.
• Please wear comfortable shoes, since there is a lot of walking.
• Please be respectful of those who may have mobility issues, if you can walk to the farther headstones please do so, so those who cannot walk that far may place a wreath closer to the wreath hand out stations.
• Once you have placed your wreaths we ask that you leave the cemetery or get back in line to receive two more wreaths per person. DO NOT walk up to the hand out area to get wreaths, the hand out area is a drive through area only.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.

What does it mean to sponsor a wreath? It means you’ll honor an American hero at one of more than 1,200 locations nationwide this year on Wreaths Across America Day. It’s a day that’s been set aside to lay wreaths at the places where we remember, honor and teach about our veterans: cemeteries, monuments, parks… Anywhere we can pay tribute to their sacrifices.
We can’t do that without your support, though. Your sponsorship will ensure that a wreath is hand-crafted of all-American balsam and hand-tied with a red velvet bow here in Columbia Falls, Maine. It will then be sent to one of our participating locations, where a volunteer will place it on the marker of a fallen hero. That volunteer will then “say their name” to ensure that the legacy of duty, service and sacrifice of that veteran is never forgotten.
So, what does it mean to sponsor a wreath? It means you have the opportunity to join a grateful nation in saying “thank you” to our veterans.
*Please Note: Specific locations designated as "ceremonial-only" accept a limited number of sponsorships. Any additional sponsorships received beyond those used for the ceremony will be distributed to other locations.
